Read the InstallationInstructions for details.• This dishwasher is designed to operate onregular house current (120 V,60 Hz). Use acircuit equipped with a 15 ampere fuse orcircuit breaker. Use a 20 ampere fuse orcircuit breaker if dishwasher is connectedwith a food waste disposer.• Do not operate dishwasher unless allenclosure panels are in their proper place asexplained in the Installation Instructionsprovided with your dishwasher.• To avoid entrapment and/or suffocation,remove the door to the washing compartmentwhen removing an old dishwasher fromservice or discarding it.• Keep young children and infants a safedistance away from the dishwasher when it isin operation.Use only detergents and rinse agentsrecommended for use in a dishwasher.Do not abuse, sit on, or stand on the door ordish rack of the dishwasher.• Store dishwasher detergent and rinse agentsout of the reach of children.• Do not wash plastic items unless marked"dishwasher safe" or the equivalent. Checkwith manufacturer for recommendations, if notmarked. Items that are not dishwasher safemay melt.• If the dishwasher drains into a food disposal,make sure disposal is completely emptybefore running dishwasher.• Disconnect electrical power to dishwasherbefore servicing.• Repairs should be done by a qualifiedElectrolux professional.• Do not tamper with controls.• Use care unloading the dishware when theSANITIZE option has been selected. Contentsmay be hot to the touch immediately after theend of cycle.• When loading and unloading items:• Locate sharp items and knives so thatthey are not likely to damage the tub ordoor seal.• Load sharp items and knives with thehandles up to reduce the risk of cut-typeinjuries. Alternatively, place sharp itemsand knives in the utensil shelf located inthe upper rack.• Under certain conditions, hydrogen gas maybe produced in a hot water system that hasnot been used for 2 weeks or more.HYDROGEN GAS IS EXPLOSIVE. If hot watersystem has not been used for such a period,before using dishwasher, turn on all hot waterfaucets and let water flow from each forseveral minutes. This will release anyaccumulated hydrogen gas. HYDROGEN GASIS FLAMMABLE. Do not smoke or use anopen flame during this time.• Do not store or use combustible materials,gasoline or other flammable vapors andliquids in the vicinity of this or any otherappliance.iiiii
