5InstallationYour compactor has been designed to require minimumspace without loss of capacity whether free-standing orbuilt-in.As shipped, the Compactor is only configured for built ininstallations. This appliance can be converted from built-in to free-standing with the use of Toe Kick AccessoryKit Model ETC15TKH (sold separately). If additional cordlength is required for free-standing installation, removethe cord clamp and wire tie on the back of the unit.caution: Failure to use Toe Kick Accessory Kit ModelETC15TKH in a free-standing installation may cause thecompactor to be unstable during operation.mounting strapsTwo under-counter mounting straps are provided. Usethese straps to secure the compactor to the underside ofa countertop.
