(See Fig.1)Before the pan is started up, the pressure vessel must be filledwith water (see also Operating Instructions).Without option Automatic cooling• Press/turn Tilting or and set the pan at an inclineof approximately 45°.• Remove the plug on the rear of the pan and turn the knob90°, (See Fig. 1 pos.20 in Installation instructions).• Fill water through the nipple up to the hole.• Press/turn Tilt return or and return the pan tothe working position. Surplus water will run out until thecorrect water level is achieved in the pan.• Turn back the knob and reinstall the plug.Check that water or steam are not leaking when the vesselreaches the working pressure.With jacket cooling or ice water coolingIf the pan is equipped with comfort control, the water is filledautomatically by going into a hidden menu:• Press Menu forwards and Menu back simultaneouslyfor 5 seconds.• Enter code 1122 by pressing Increase value or Decreasevalue for number, and Menu forwards or Menu backfor location.• Confirm by pressing Start .• Select SERVICE with Decrease value and press Menuforwards (from Rev. UCP0419 push Menu forwards3 times).• Fill the pressure vessel with water by pressing Increase value.• Switch off the water with Decrease value when it startsto run out of the tube under the pan.• Exit the hidden menu by pressing Control switch On/Off.Alternatively, the pressure vessel can be filled with water bystarting the COOLING program, see Operating Instructions.The water level in the vessel should be checked at least once/quarter.Without option Level control:If the pan is equipped with level control; thevessel will be filled with water automatically tothe correct level when the boiling pan is ener-gized.NoteThe boiling pan must be connected to the wa-ter before the boiling pan be energized for thefirst time.(SMB, SM6B) Smart = Boiling pan without agitator(SMV, SM6V) Smart Variomix = Boiling pan with Variomix agitator(SMP, SM6P) Smart Promix® = Boiling pan with Promix® agitator(SVI, SV6I) Smart Variomix ICE = Boiling pan with Variomix agitator and option ice water cooling(SPI, SP6I) Smart Promix® ICE = Boiling pan with Promix® agitator and option ice water cooling
