Metal Cone AssemblyB. 5/18-18 Flange NutAssemblyInstall Chipper Cone - All Models1 . Position the chipper cone (A) over the three 5/16-18threaded studs protruding from the engine plate, andattach using three 5/16-18 flange nuts (B). SEE FIGURE 12. Rotate cone and cone base away from engine so conedoes not contact engine.3. Tighten the flange nuts securely.ABInstall the Hopper - All Models1. Attach the hopper to the rotor housing. Make sureto engage the metal lip of the hopper liner inside thehousing.2. Secure the hopper to the rotor housing using two 5/16 x1/2 hex head bolts, two 5/16 flat washers. Do not tightenhardware at this time. SEE FIGURE 23. From the inside of the hopper install one 5/16-18 flangenut on each 5/16 weld stud. Finger tighten only at thistime.4. Check that the hopper is seated correctly and tighten allhardware.Install the Handle - All Models1. Lift the hopper handle up until the outer holes in thehandle align with the holes in the shredder hopper andsecure with 1/4-20 x 3/4 screws, washers, and nuts (A).Insert the screws from the outside of the shredder hopper.SEE FIGURE 3FIGURE 2 - Attaching the HopperAFIGURE 3 - Installing the Hopper HandleA. 1/4-20 x 3/4 Screw & Nut |
