Chassis Management Controller(CMC) Secure Digital (SD) CardTechnical SpecificationThe CMC firmware version 1.1 supports FlexAddress, an optional feature, thatrequires server module BIOS and iDRAC firmware, I/O Mezzanine BIOS orfirmware, and CMC firmware updates and SD card installation. The FlexAddressfeature is bound to a single chassis; once assigned, it cannot be used or reassignedto a different chassis without unbinding the feature.NOTE: The SD card contains a FlexAddress feature. Data contained on the SD card isencrypted and may not be duplicated or altered in any way as it may inhibit system functionand cause the system to malfunction.NOTE: Your use of the SD card is limited to one chassis only. If you have multiple chassis,you must purchase additional SD cards.FlexAddress Required UpdatesTo activate the FlexAddress feature there are several required updates; if you arenot activating FlexAddress these updates are not required. The updates includeserver module BIOS and iDRAC firmware, I/O mezzanine BIOS or firmware, andCMC firmware. You must apply these updates before you enable FlexAddress.
