INSTRUCTIONS FOR USEDELL 1210S DIGITAL PROJECTORSAFETY1 CAUTION: Projector lens and ventilation outlet can get very HOT. Never leave theprojector unattended and keep out of the reach of children and pets.2 Plug the machine into a grounded, three-prong outlet. Use of an extension cord is notrecommended. Be sure the cord is placed so that your guests will not trip over it orcause it to disconnect from the outlet.3 CAUTION: Never look into the lens while the projector is on to avoid causing injury toyour eyes.4 Do not use the projector in areas of excessive heat or cold. If used outdoors, take careto keep the projector out of direct sunlight, dry, and free of dust.SETUP1 Set up the 1210S on a safe and stable surface. The projector should be located between5-30 feet from your projection surface. Plug in following directions above.2A Connect your computer using the provided VGA cable to connect to the VGA-A IN porton the back of the projector. Connect the USB remote cable if you will be using the PageUp/Down feature.2B You may choose to connect the projector to a DVD player or television receiver insteadof a computer. You must supply your own S-video or composite cable for yourcomponents. These can be connected to the back of the projector.3 Remove the lens cap, and press the POWER button on the top of the projector. Turn onyour source (computer, DVD player, etc.) after the projector has powered on.4 The source for the projector is VGA-A by default. Press the SOURCE button on theremote to change the input source of the projector if needed.USE1 Adjust the height and angle of the image using the adjustable rubber feet on the bottomof the projector.2 Rotate the zoom tab on top of the projector to zoom in and out, then rotate the focusring on the front until the image is clear and in focus.3 Choose your video mode using the remote. Presentation Mode is best for data or slides,while Movie Mode is ideal for movies or games.4 The remote control will work best within twenty feet of the projector and having a clearline of sight.SHUTDOWN1 To power down, press the POWER button once. A confirmation message will appear onthe screen; press the POWER button a second time to confirm. Leave the projectorplugged in for at least ten minutes after powering down to allow the fans to cool theinterior of the projector.2 Unplug all cords and replace the lens cap. Adjust the rubber feet back to their lowestsetting to avoid damage in transit.
