2ToolsThe following tools may be needed forinstallation of your microwave oven.Phillips screwdrivers, Electric DrillMotor, 1/2” & 5/8” Wood Bits & 3/16”Drill Bit, Saw to cut exhaust opening, (ifneeded) or Jig Saw, Tin Snips (ifneeded), Pencil, Tape Measure, PaperTape & Duct Tape.Installation HardwareYour Over-the-Range microwave ovenrequires mounting space on a wall asshown.1. A minimum of 30” between wallhung side cabinets is required forinstallation. Make sure the bottomedge of the top cabinet is at least 66”from the floor and 30” from thecooking surface.2. For easier access to the hood lamp,the bottom of the microwave ovenshould be at least 2” above the rangebacksplash.3. If you are going to vent yourmicrowave oven to the outside, seeexhaust duct preparation.4.
