If yourDacor product fails to function within one year of the original dateof purchase due to a defect in material or workmanship, Dacor willremedy it without charge to you.All cosmetic damage (such as scratches on stainless steel, paint/porcelain blemishes, etc.) to the product or included accessoriesmust be reported to Dacor within 60 days of the original purchasedate to qualify for warranty coverage.30 day limited warranty on water filter. For 30 days from the dateof purchase, when this filter is operated and maintained accordingto instructions attached to or furnished with the product, Dacorwill pay for replacement parts to correct defects in materials andworkmanship.Except as noted above, consumable parts such as filters and lightbulbs are not covered and are the responsibility of the purchaser.LIMITED WARRANTYIn the second through fifth years from the date of purchase, whenthis major appliance is operated and maintained according toinstructions attached to or furnished with the product, Dacor willpay for factory specified parts and repair labor costs to correctdefects in materials or workmanship in the sealed refrigerationsystem. These parts are: compressor, evaporator, condenser,dryer, and connecting tubing.LIMITATIONS OF COVERAGEService will be provided by a Dacor designated service companyduring regular business hours. Please note service providers areindependent entities and are not agents of Dacor.Dealer display and model home display products with aproduction date greater than 5 years, products sold “As Is,” andproducts installed for non-residential use, which include but notlimited to religious organizations, fire stations, bed and breakfast,and spas carry a one year parts warranty only. All delivery, instal-lation, labor costs, and other service fees are the responsibility ofthe purchaser.Warranty will be null and void on product that has altered,defaced, or missing serial numbers and tags.The owner must provide proof of purchase or closing statementfor new construction upon request. All Dacor products must beaccessible for service.Warranty is null and void if non-CSA approved product is trans-ported from the U.S.A.OUTSIDE THE FIFTY STATES OF THE U.S.A., THE DISTRICTOF COLUMBIA, AND CANADA:FULL ONE YEAR WARRANTYIf your Dacor product fails to function within one year ofthe original date of purchase due to a defect in material orworkmanship, Dacor will furnish a new part, F.O.B. factory toreplace the defective part.All delivery, installation, labor costs, and other service fees are theresponsibility of the purchaser.What is Not Covered Slight color variations may be noticed because of differencesin painted parts, kitchen lighting, product placement, and otherfactors; this warranty does not apply to color variation. Service calls to educate the customer on proper use and careof the product. Service fees for travel to islands and remote areas, whichinclude but not limited to, ferries, toll roads, or other travelexpenses. Consequential or incidental damage, including but not limitedto food or medicine loss, time away from work, or restaurantmeals. Failure of the product when used for commercial, business,rental, or any application other than for residential consumeruse. Failure of the product caused by improper product installation. Replacement of house fuses, fuse boxes, or resetting of circuitbreakers. Damage to the product caused by accident, fire, flood, powerinterruption, power surges, or other acts of God. Liability or responsibility for damage to surrounding propertyincluding cabinetry, floors, ceilings, and other structures orobjects around the product. Breakage, discoloration, or damage to glass, metal surfaces,plastic components, trim, paint, or other cosmetic finishcaused by improper usage, care, abuse, or neglect. |
