52CHAPTER NINEADDITIONAL FEATURES OF THE PVX-B9.1 Language SelectionThe PVX-B is equipped with a multi language selection feature. This is an addedfeature for to accommodate everyone. The procedures are outlined below:Selecting the Language using the Tabbed Menus1) Press the MENU key once to activate the menu items tab. Press theMENU key multiple times to tab right, and the ESC key multiple times to tableft, until the SETUP menu is highlighted and displaying the submenu items.2) Use the UP and DOWN arrow keys to scroll through the sub menu itemsuntil LANGUAGE is highlighted.3) Press the LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys to scroll the available languageoptions.4) Press the OK key to set the Language and return to the menu screen, orESC to cancel selecting the Language.5) Finally, press the MEAS key to return to the measurement screen andbegin taking readings.9.2 High Speed ScanThe High Speed Scan feature of the PVX-B increases the overall sample rate fromthe standard 4 measurements a second to 32 measurements a second.
