Do NOT connect the power adapter to your D-Link router.Connect the D-Link Router Cables.A. Connect the Ethernet (or networking) cable from the Cable orDSL modem to the WAN port of the router.B. Use the D-Link supplied Ethernet cable to connect the Ethernetport (Network Card) of your computer to one of the LAN ports ofthe router. The complete setup should look like Fig.1 shown above.Power up the devices in sequence.A. Power up the Cable or DSL modem. Wait until the modem hasmade the connection to your Internet Service Prover’s (ISP’s)network.B. Power up the D-Link router by connecting the D-Link providedpower adapter to the router and to an available power outlet.C. Turn on your computer.D.
