21D-Link DCS-5030L User Manual 21Section 3 - ConfigurationInternet Connection Setup WizardThis wizard will guide you through a step-by-step process to configure yournew D-Link Camera and connect the camera to your network.Click Next to continue.Select what kind of network connection your camera should use:• DHCP Connection (Default): If you are connected to arouter, or are not sure which connection to use, select DHCPConnection.• Static IP Address: This will allow you to manually enteryour network settings for the camera. Select this option ifyour Internet Service Provider or network administrator hasprovided you with a set of predefined IP addresses. If youare not sure what settings to enter, check with your InternetService Provider or network administrator.• PPPoE Connection: If your camera is directly connectedto a DSL modem, you may need to use PPPoE. Enter theusername and password provided to you by your InternetService Provider.Click Next to continue.
