SMART LOCK (Patent Pending)QUICK-START SETUP GUIDECongratulations on purchasing a Craftsman® toolstorage unit with Smart Lock technology.Refer to this quick-start guide to set up your Smart Lock.Please save this guide for future reference.1. Download the free Craftsman® Smart LockToolbox app to your smartphone.2. Insert the key and turn to the unlockedposition (clockwise). Note: the key willspring back to the 12 o’clock position. Verifythe toolbox is unlocked. Remove the key.3. With drawers empty, remove one or twodrawers directly beneath the lock by pullingthe drawer out completely. To do so, pull upon the black slide-release tab on one slide,and push down on the other slide lock andpull the drawer straight out. If the drawerhas two sets of slides, repeat for each set.4. Inside the toolbox where the drawers wereremoved, look up into the area behindthe key lock. You will see the Smart Lockmechanism directly behind the key lock.Locate the battery pack that’s attached byvelcro to the inside of the toolbox top; usinga flashlight may help.
