Operation (continued)Moving the VacShould it become necessary to pick thevac up to move it, the handles may beused on the sides of the dust drum. Donot use the handle located on the detach-able blower to pick up the entire wet/dryvac or the lid assembly.Handle/HandleBlowing FeatureYour wet/dry vac features a "detachableblower". It has the capability to be used asa dedicated blower for yard work, patiocleanup and workshop applications toblow sawdust and other debris.WARNING: Always wear safety gog-gles complying with ANSI Z87.1when using as a blower,WARNING: Wear a dust mask ifblowing creates dust which might beinhaled,CAUTION: To reduce the risk of hear-ing damage wear ear protectorswhen using the vac/blower forextended hours or when using it in anoisy area.WARNING: To reduce the risk ofinjury to bystanders, keep them clearof bow ng debr s.1. Familiarize yourself with the detachableblower portion of your wet/dry vae.2. Remove the detachable blower of yourvac by pressing down on the latchunder the handle of the detachableblower. This latch holds the detachableblower to the lid assembly.3. Lift the detachable blower up by raisingthe handle upward and pulling the unitaway from the nested position of thehinges.Assemble the Detachable Blower for "Blowing"This may be assembled two ways.1. Insert the small end of one of the exten-sion wands into the blowing port of thedetachable blower. Insert the blowingadapter into the extension wand andinstall the blower nozzle onto the blow-ing adapter.-OR-2. Insert the blowing adapter into theblowing port of the detachable blower.Connect the large end of the extensionwand to the blowing adapter.
