page 8Remove 1 screw from motor plate (onunderside of motor) and loosen the other 2screws. Align slotted holes in light kit fitter withloosened screws in motor plate, allowing molexconnections from the motor assembly to comethrough hole in middle of light kit fitter. Twistlight kit fitter to lock. Re-insert screw that waspreviously removed and securely tighten all 3screws with a Phillips screwdriver. [Refer todiagram 1.]Connect WHITE wire from light kit fitter toWHITE wire from motor assembly. ConnectBLACK wire from the light kit fitter to BLACK(or BLUE) wire from the motor assembly. Be surethat the molex connections snap togethersecurely.Remove 1 screw from light kit fitter and loosenthe other 2 screws. Align slotted holes inthreaded rod assembly with loosened screws inlight kit fitter. Twist threaded rod assembly tolock. Re-insert screw that was previouslyremoved and securely tighten all 3 screws witha Phillips screwdriver. [Refer to diagram 2.]IMPORTANT: Be careful when attachingthreaded rod assembly that the wiring does notget pinched or caught under the metal edges.Allow wires to come through correspondingopenings in plate on threaded rod assembly.Install 2 candelabra base 60 watt max. bulbs(included).Important: When replacing bulb(s), pleaseallow bulb(s) and shade to cool down beforetouching them.Remove finial and finial plate from threaded rodassembly. Align hole in center of glass shadewith threaded rod on threaded rod assemblyand push up gently until threaded rod comesthrough hole.Align hole of glass shade support with threadedrod and push up gently until threaded rodcomes through hole.Secure glass shade and glass shade supportwith finial plate and finial previously removed.9.
