Restore power fromcircuit box and light switch (if applicable). Testfan speeds with the pull chain located on theswitch housing. Start at the OFF position (noblade movement). First pull will set the fan toHI. Second pull will set the fan to MEDIUM.Third pull will set the fan to LOW. Fourth pullwill again set the fan to OFF setting. Test lightswith the pull chain located in the middle. If fanand/or lights do/does not function, please referto "Troubleshooting" section to solve any issuesbefore contacting Customer Service.Turn fan completely off before moving thereverse switch. Set reverse switch to recirculateair depending on the season:- DOWN position in summer (diagram 1)- UP position in winter (diagram 2)A ceiling fan will allow you to raise yourthermostat setting in summer and lower yourthermostat setting in winter without feeling adifference in your comfort.Important: Reverse switch must be set eithercompletely UP or completely DOWN for fan tofunction. If the reverse switch is set in themiddle position (diagram 3), fan will notoperate.Attach pull chain extension(s) provided orcustom pull chain extension(s) (sold separately)to the end(s) of the pull chain(s).diagram 1 diagram 2 diagram 3Secure 3 glass shades withthumbscrews provided in one ofthe hardware packs.Do NOT overtighten thumbscrews asglass may crack or break.Install 3 candelabra base 60 watt max.incandescent bulbs (included).IMPORTANT: When you need toreplace bulbs, please allow bulb(s) andglass shade(s) to cool down beforetouching them.
