Hole8 ATTACH FRONT LINK (E)• Turn steering wheel to position wheelsstraight forward.• From front of tractor, insert rod end offront link (E) through front hole in tractorfront suspension bracket (F).• Moveto left side of mower and and insertlarge retainer spring (G) through hole infront link (E) behind front suspensionbracket (F).• Insert other end of link (E) into hole infront mower bracket (H) and secure withwasher and small retainer spring (J).NOTE: Requires deck lifting.Front Link J ....... '_ _:::I/}_'(_::::::::!f j,...... .........................\L, 29 INSTALL BELT ON ENGINE CLUTCHPULLEY (M)• Disengage belt tension rod (K) fromlocking bracket (L).• Install belt onto engine clutch pulley (M).M.EngineClutch PulleyIMPORTANT: Check belt for proper routingin all mower pulley grooves and undermandrel covers.• Engage belt tension rod (K) on lockingbracket (L)._,CAUTION" Belt tension rod is springloaded. Have a tight grip on rod and engageslowly.• Raise attachment lift lever to highestposition.• If necessary, adjust gauge wheelsbefore operating mower as shown in theOperation section of this manual.MOWER DRIVE BELT INSTALLATIONFollow procedure described in "TOREPLACE MOWER BLADE DRIVE BELT"in the "Service and Adjustments" section ofthis manual.-.
