Lift hood to raised position.2. Remove terminal cover.3. Disconnect BLACK battery cable thenRED battery cable and carefully removebattery from tractor.4. Install new battery with terminals insameposition as old battery.5. Reinstall terminal cover.6. First connect RED battery cable to posi-tive (+) battery terminal with bolt and nutas shown. Tighten securely.7. Connect BLACK grounding cable tonegative (-) batteryterminal with remain-ing bolt and nut. Tighten securely8. Replace bulb in holder and install bulbholder securely back into the hole in thebackside of the grill.4. Unsnap headlight wire connector.3. Remove retainer clip and washer fromright hand pivot pin.4. Stand in front of tractor. Grasp hood atsides and slide left removing hood frompivot pins and lift hood off of tractor.5.
