KNOW THE TRIM SAWSee Figure 1.Before attempting to use this product, familiarizeyourselfwith all operating features and safety rules.SWITCHThe saw is equipped with a lock-off button which reducesthe possibility of accidental starting. The lock-off buttonis located on the handle above the switch trigger.Youmust depress the lock-off button in order to pull the switchtrigger. The lock resets each time the trigger is released.NOTE: You can depress the lock-off button from either theleft or right side.SPINDLE LOCK BUTI'ONDepressing the spindle lock button will allow you to installor replace the saw blade without the spindle turning. Pressthe spindle lock button and use the blade wrench to tightenor loosen the blade screw.LOWER BLADE GUARDThe lower blade guard will protect the saw blade when thesaw is not in use. It will rotate out of the way when makinga cut.LOWER BLADE GUARD HANDLEThe lower blade guard has a handle attached to it allowingyou to rotate the lower blade guard out of the way to installor replace the saw blade, it is also used when making apocket cut to expose the saw blade.UNPACKINGThis product requires assembly.• Carefully remove the tool and any accessories from thebox.
