Following this rule will reducethe risk of serious personal injury.• Do not abuse cord. Never carry tool by cord oryank it to disconnect from receptacle. Keep cordfrom heat, oil and sharp edges. Following this rulewill reduce the risk of electric shock or fire.• An extension cord should not be used unlessabsolutely necessary. Use of improper extensioncord could result in a risk of fire and electric shock. Ifextension cord must be used, make sure:a. That pins on plug of extension cord are thesame number, size and shape as those ofplug on charger.b. That extension cord is properly wired and ingood electrical condition; andc.
