Be sure switch is inthe locked or off position before inserting batterypack. Carrying products with your finger on the switchor inserting the battery pack into a product with theswitch on invites accidents.[] Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balanceat all times. Proper footing and balance enabJe bettercontrol of the product in unexpected situations.[] Do not use on a ladder or unstable support. Stablefooting on a solid surface enables better control of theproduct in unexpected situations.PRODUCT USE AND CARE[] Do not use product if switch does not turn it on oroff. A product that cannot be controlled with the switchis dangerous and must be repaired.[] Disconnect battery pack from product or place theswitch in the locked or off position before makingany adjustments, changing accessories, or storingthe product. Such preventive safety measures reducethe risk of starting the product accidentally.[] When battery pack is not in use, keep it away fromother metal objects like: paper clips, coins, keys,nails, screws, or other small metal objects that canmake a connection from one terminal to another.Shorting the battery terminals together may causesparks, burns, or a fire.[] Keep the radio and its handle dry, dean and freefrom oil and grease. Always use a clean cloth whencleaning. Never use brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based products, or any strong solvents to clean yourradio. Following this rule will reduce the risk of loss ofcontrol and deterioration of the enclosure plastic.[] Do not use this apparatus near water.[] Clean only with dry cloth.[] Do not block any ventilation openings. Install inaccordance with the manufacturer's instructions.[] Do not install near any heat sources such asradiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus(including amplifiers) that produce heat.[] Only use attachments/accessories specified by themanufacturer.SERVICE[] Product service must be performed only byqualified repair personnel.
