Therefore,you should charge it until light on frontof charger changes from red to green.NOTE:Batteries will not reach fullcharge the first time they are charged.Allow several cycles (using impactwrench followed by recharging) forthem to become fully charged.TO CHARGE• Charge battery pack only with thecharger provided.• Make sure power supply is normalhouse voltage, 120 volts, 60 Hz,AC only.• Connect charger to power supply.• Attach battery pack to charger byaligning raised ribs on battery packwith grooves in charger, then slidebattery pack onto charger.• Red light should turn on. Steadyred light indicates normal fastcharging mode. If red light is flash-ing, this indicates battery pack isdeeply discharged or hot.If battery pack is hot, red light shouldbecome steady after battery packhas cooled down.If battery pack is deeply discharged,red light should become steady aftervoltage has increased, normallywithin 60 minutes.If after one hour red light is still flash-ing, this indicates a defective batterypack that should be replaced.Green light ON indicates batterypack is fully charged and slow charg-ing to maintain battery pack.Yellow light ON and red light flashingindicates defective battery pack.Return battery pack to your nearestSears Repair Center for checking orreplacing.Figure 6: Battery Charger
