Scrapeand cleanthe undersideof the deck and nozzlewith asuitabletool. Donot spraywith water.IMPORTANT:Donot usea pressurewasheror garden hoseto cleanyourunit. Thesemay causedamageto bearings,or the engine.Theuseof water will resultin shortenedlife and reduceserviceability.4. Putthe yardvacuumbackon its wheelson theground.CLEANING THE FLAIL SCREENIf the dischargearea becomesclogged, removetheflail screenandcleanarea as follows:1. Stopthe engine.Makecertain the chipper/shreddervacuumhascometo a completestop.2. Beforeuncloggingthe dischargechute,disconnect and groundthe spark plugwire.3. Removethe vacuumbagor blowerchute fromthe unitasinstructedin the OPERATIONsectionto obtainaccessto flailscreen.4.
