The choke lever slides between the RUN and CHOKE positions.PrimerModel: 247.11683* Model: 247.88780*Pressing the primer, making sure to cover the vent hole when pushing, forces fueldirectly into the engine’s carburetor to aid in cold-weather starting.Recoil Starter HandleThe recoil starter handle is used to start the engine.Gas CapRemove the gas cap to add fuel.KeyThe key is a safety device. It must be fully inserted in order forthe engine to start. Remove the key when the snow blower isnot in use.NOTE: Do not turn the key in an attempt to start the engine. Doing so may cause it to break.
