The lock resets each time the triggeris released.• To start the power head: Depress the lock-outbutton and squeeze the switch trigger.• To stop the power head: Release the switchtrigger.• Avoid hot surfaces by always keeping the toolaway from your body.• Keep the trimmer tilted toward the area being cut;this is the best cutting angle.• The trimmer cuts best when passing the unitfrom right to left.
