The ideal storagetemperature is between 40°F (4°C) and100°F (38°C).■ Keep tools away from corrosive agentssuch as garden chemicals and de-icingsalts.■ We recommend using the original packagefor storage or covering the product with asuitable cloth to protect it against dust.CARE & MAINTENANCEWARNING: When servicing, use onlyidentical replacement parts as listed in thismanual. Most plastics are susceptible todamage from various types of commercialsolvents and may be damaged by their use.Use clean clothes to remove dirt, dust, oil,grease, etc.WARNING: Do not at any time let brakefluids, gasoline, petroleum-based products,penetrating oils, etc. come in contact withplastic parts. To ensuresafety and reliability, all repairs should beperformed by a qualified service technician.TRANSPORTATION■ Set the rotation selector to OFF andremove battery pack before transportingtool anywhere.■ Ordinarily, always carry the tool by its handgrip. If the tool is fitted with a belt hook, itmay be hung from your belt.■ Protect the tool from any heavy impact orstrong vibrations which may occur duringtransportation in vehicles.CLEANINGRemove the Battery Pack■ Brush or blow dust and debris out of the airvents using compressed air or a vacuum.■ Keep the air vents free of obstructions,sawdust, and wood chips. Do not spray,wash, or immerse the air vents in water.■ Wipe off the housing and the plasticcomponents using a moist, soft cloth.■ Do not use strong solvents or detergentson the plastic housing or plasticcomponents. Certain household cleanersmay cause damage, and may cause ashock hazard.
