Pick up the handset and dial thedesired number.2. Press the dial soft key to completethe call.Using the hands-free Speakerphone:1. With the handset on-hook press(speaker button). Dial the desirednumber.2. Press the dial soft key to completethe call.Using the optional Headset:1. With the headset connected, press(headset button). Dial thedesired number.2. Press the dial soft key to completethe call.During a call, you can alternatebetween handset, headset, or hands-free modes by pressing the orkeys.ANSWERING A CALLUsing the Handset:1. Pick up the handset.Using the Speakerphone:1. Press or the answer soft key.Using the optional Headset:1. Press to answer the call usinga headset.ENDING A CALL1. Press the endCall soft key or replacethe handset.2. Alternatively you may also press(speaker button) if you areusing the speaker phone or(headset button) if you are using aheadset.MICROPHONE MUTE1. To mute the phone microphone,speaker, or headset microphone press. The button will glow red.2. The other party cannot hear you.3. Press (microphone mutebutton) again to unmute and resumeaudio.CALL HOLD AND RESUME1. During a call press the hold buttonto place the call on hold.2. The caller on hold will hear Music orMessage on hold if enabled on yoursystem.3. Press the resume soft key to reestablish the call.LOCAL CONFERENCE CALLSTo create a three-way localconference call:1. You can create a conference withtwo other parties using the phoneslocal conferencing feature.2. During an active call, press (rightarrow) then press the conf soft key tocreate a new call.3. The active call is placed on hold andthe caller will hear Music or Messageon hold if enabled on your system.4. Dial the phone number of the secondparty5. When the second party answers,press the conf soft key again to join allparties in the Conference.When you hang up, the other twoparties are disconnected. To keep theother parties in a call, but disconnectyou from the call, press join.Use the Star2Star Conference roomfeature for larger conferences.CALL TRANSFERBlind Transfer (Transfer withoutannouncement):1. During a call press the bxfer softkey.2. The caller on hold will hear Music orMessage on hold if enabled on yoursystem.3. Dial the number you want to transferthe call to then press the dial soft key tocomplete the transfer.Transfer (Announced):1. During a call press the xfer soft key.2. The caller on hold will hear Music orMessage on hold if enabled on yoursystem.3. Dial the number you want to transferthe call to and then press the dial softkey.4. When the called party answersannounce the call.5. Press the xfer soft key to completethe transfer.CALL FORWARDINGTo enable call forwarding:1. Press the cfwd soft key from thephone’s idle display. A tone will beheard.2. The phone displays Enter CWFD AllNumber.3. Enter the number required.4. Press the dial soft key to invoke thefeature.5. Calls Forwarded appears in thedisplay and the soft key changes to –cfwd and is highlighted.To disable call forwarding:1. Press the –cfwd soft key.Use the Star2Star Find-Me / Follow-Mefeature found in the Star2Star WebPortal Individual Phone Settingssection.Follow Me (Immediate)Find Me (SequentialFind Me (All).
