CISCOSPA502GyBefore you start using the phoneClick the stand to the 4 holes on the bottomside of the phone. Connect the receiver cordto the receiver and to the telephone portmarked with the receiver icon. Connect oneend of the LAN network cable (black) to theport on the bottom of the phone marked “SW”and the other end to the Internet modem,router or switch. If your network does notsupport PoE (Power on Ethernet), you mustuse the power supply adapter for thetelephone (optional accessory). The phonewill then turn itself on automatically and theLCD will display “Initializing…” This may takeseveral minutes during which the telephonewill update itself and may restartautomatically. Then the registration within thenetwork will follow. Right in the telephone alist of telephone contacts has been madeready for you to use. To open the list ofcontacts for the first time you have to enteryour assigned telephone number and thepassword. You will receive these details onthe delivery of the service Press “dir” on thehome screen, and then select “Firemníadresář” and after opening it press the button“edit”. Enter your telephone number in formatyournumber@cz.in.gtsce.com in the User IDfield. In the item "Password" enter the samepassword that you use to sign on the portal-uc.gtsce.com portal. We recommend you tochange the password for security reasons. Onthe portal click "Profile" in the left panel, andthen select "Passwords". After entering a newpassword, whole event confirm by selecting“OK”. If you change your password via webportal, it is necessary to change it also in yourIP phone. Procedure for changing thepassword is the same as for entering it afterthe first login. Additional instructions areavailable in the “Download” section on portal-uc.gtsce.com portal. Help is available uponpressing the “Help” button in the right uppercorner.1. Making a callPick up the receiver or press the“loudspeaker” button and dial the telephonenumber using the keypad. After you end thecall, press the “loudspeaker” button again orreplace the receiver. You can adjust thesound volume in the receiver using the“volume” rocker button. The microphone maybe deactivated during the call by pressing the“MUTE” button and re-activated by pressingthe button one more time.2. NavigationThe navigation button is used for browsingthrough menus. The context based Selectbutton is used for confirming the choice.Context based buttons change their functionautomatically depending on the currentstatus of the phone.3. Repeated dialingIf you wish to call one of the recently dialednumbers, open the list of recently dialednumbers by pressing the “repeat” button.4. Forwarding a callAn inbound call may be forwarded using the“forward” button. After pressing the button,enter the number to which you want toforward the call. The call will be forwarded tothe respective number after you have pressedthe “forward” button one more time.5. Forwarding a call without consultingPress the “forward” button during an on-going call and enter the number to which youwant to forward the call. Press the “forward”button one more time and the call will beforwarded.6. Forwarding a call with consultingPress the “forward” button during an on-going call and enter the number to which youwant to forward the call. Press OK to dial.Now you can speak to the called party. Press“forward” again to forward the first call.7. Speed dialYou can enter up to 8 speed dial numbers intoyour phone. Adding a new number:• use the navigation key to select therequired number and push the soft buttonwith the “edit” feature• enter a name in the directory, the directorylist will pop up automatically• use the navigation key to select therequired number and continue by pushing the“ok” button•the item has been saved•if you enter a wrong character, push“delChr” to delete that character or “clear” todelete the entire valueContext basedbuttonReceiverVoicemail indicatorLCDVoicemail accessLoudspeakerKeypadVolume controlMain menuNavigation buttons |
