Quick Start GuideCisco Small Business ProSPA500S 32-Button Attendant Console for CiscoSmall Business Pro SPA500 Series IP PhonesPackage Contents• SPA500S 32-Button Attendant Console• Quick Start Guide• Attachment Arm• Attachment Arm Screws (2)• Auxiliary Interconnect Cable• StandConnecting to the SPA500Series IP PhoneThe following procedure describes how to attach the SPA500S to a SPA500Series IP Phone.S TEP 1 Turn both the SPA500 Series IP Phone and the SPA500S face down.S TEP 2 Align the screw hole in the SPA500 Series IP Phone with one of theholes on the attachment arm.S TEP 3 Insert the pegs on the attachment arm into the peg holes on theSPA500 Series IP Phone.1 S TEP 4 Using an attachment arm screw, secure the attachment arm to theSPA500 Series IP Phone.S TEP 5 Align the right screw hole in the SPA500S with the unused hole on theattachment arm.S TEP 6 Insert the pegs on the attachment arm into the peg holes on theSPA500S.S TEP 7 Using an attachment arm screw, secure the attachment arm to theSPA500S.C AUTION Do not plug a telephone line cord into the AUX port. Useonly the auxiliary cable provided with the SPA500S.S TEP 8 Locate the AUX IN port on the back of the SPA500S. Connect one endof the auxiliary cable to this port.S TEP 9 Locate the AUX port on the back of the SPA500 Series IP Phone.Connect the other end of the auxiliary cable to this port.
