Then, mount theIR Extender receiver in an inconspicuous place,but make certain that nothing blocks the sensoron the front of the receiver.To control the set-top, press the keys on theremote control while aiming the remote control atthe sensor on the receiver.Note: If you encounter problems, make sure that allconnections are secure and that nothing blocks thepath between the receiver and your remote control.For further assistance, contact your service provider.2Important: Do not block the sensor on thefront of the receiver, or you cannot control theset-top with your remote control.Place the sensor away from compactfluorescent light, plasma TV displays, or LCDHDTVs. The sensor signal may be blockedwhen placed too close to these types ofdevices, and the remote control will no longerfunction properly.
