Important Safety InstructionsTo ensure the safe operation of this scanner, be sure to read the safety warnings and precautions described below.Installation LocationThe performance of this scanner is affected by theenvironment in which it is installed. Make sure that thelocation where the scanner is installed meets the followingenvironmental requirements.● Provide adequate space around the scanner foroperation, maintenance, and ventilation.● Avoid installing the machine in direct sunlight. Ifthis is unavoidable, use curtains to shade thescanner.● Avoid locations with excessive dust or cigarettesmoke. Dust and smoke can have negative effectson the inner parts of the scanner.● Avoid warm or humid locations, such as in thevicinity of a water faucet, water heater, orhumidifier, and avoid locations where the fumesfrom ammonia, paint thinner, or other volatilechemicals may be present.● Avoid locations that are subject to vibration.● Avoid exposing the scanner to rapid changes intemperature. If the room in which the scanner isinstalled is cold but rapidly heated, water droplets(condensation) may form inside the scanner.
