42Using the TimelineInitiating a manual recording with duration of one minuteA manual recording with duration of one minute can be initiated at the maximum framerate. The manual recording is displayed on the Timeline and Live Events Log as “Manualrecording (username)”. This is handy for capturing random events not associated withsensor recording or outside preset recording times.To initiate manual recording:Select a Video Window formanual recording.Click Record Now.21z The Record Now function records at the maximum frame rate.Extended recording time will use additional disk space on theStorage Server. Excessive use of this function should not beperformed without first checking with an administrator.z The Record Now function is only enabled if a Storage Server isconfigured for the camera.z Recording will be for approximately one minute. The actualduration of recorded video may vary depending on settingsand network delays.z The priority of an event created by a manual recording usingRecord Now will always be Priority 1. It cannot be changedfrom Event tab.NoteCapturing a Still FrameClick Capture Still Frame to savethe current image on a VideoWindow.Select a Video Window tocapture a still image.Click Capture Still Frame.21
