Storage Server Configuration Dialog54● Event Notification TabIn the Storage Server Configuration dialog, Event Notification tab allows you toconfigure the setting of the e-mail sent to the user when the event occurs.E-mails are sent according to the priorities set in the Events tab.Example event notification e-mailAn event of priority 3 occurred on 12/05/2006 at 15:15:17 +1000.Parking Lot 1: Sensor onEnable e-mail notification and selecta priority. Events of that priority andabove will lead to notification e-mails.Enter the e-mail subject line, forexample, “Immediate ActionRequired”. Enter the address of therecipient and enter your fromaddress.Enter a Host Name or IP addressand Port Number of mail server foroutgoing mail.Enable authentication (POP-before-SMTP) for connection and enterUser Name, Password and POPServer details.If this is enabled, the StorageServer will attempt to perform aPOP login before sending e-mailthat may be required for someSMTP servers.You can only register one e-mail address in the To Address field.If you want to send the e-mail to multiple addresses, use a groupaddress.TipCOPY
