If you cannot find the symptom corresponding to a certain problem, refer tothe User’s Guide.Message Try ThisThere are no photos inmemory card.• Photo data edited/processed on the computer should be printedfrom the computer, not from the camera.• There is no proper data in the memory card. See “Memory CardsSupported by This Printer” on page 5.Ink has run out. Replacethe ink tank and close thecover.U041The ink has run out (The lamp on the ink tank flashes).Replace the ink tank, and close the cover.If printing is in progress and you want to continue printing, press theOK button with the ink tank installed. Then printing can continue underthe ink out condition. Replace the empty ink tank immediately after theprinting. The printer may be damaged if printing is continued under theink out condition.If multiple ink tank lamps are flashing red, check how fast they flash.Fast flashing (at about one second interval) indicates the ink is empty.Slow flashing (at about three second interval) indicates ink is low. Fordetails on different flashing speeds, see “Getting the Ink LevelInformation” on page 23.Print head is not installed.Install the print head./Thetype of print head isincorrect. Install the correctprint head.Install the print head. If the print head is already installed, remove theprint head and reinstall it.If this error still remains, the print head may be damaged.
