Self-DiagnosisThe DC controller PCB has a microprocessor that diagnoses the functions of the copier (par-ticularly the sensors) at appropriate intervals. If this microprocessor detects an error, it will displaythe type of the error on the indicator on the control panel.The table below shows the various fault codes, their meaning, and the corresponding detectiontiming.Example of E000 code indication:EÛ000 light alternately.Main causeThermistor (TH1), Fixing heater (H1),Power supply PCB, DC controllerPCB or Thermoswitch (TS1).Thermistors (TH1/TH2), Fixingheater (H1), Power supply PCB orDC controller PCB.Main motor error:Main motor (M1), DC controllerPCBCounter, DC controller PCBE000E001Code displayed Fault criteria•If the fixing assembly temperature islower than 50°C after 15 sec fromthe power on. (main thermistor)•If the warm-up is not over after 60sec from when the temperaturereached 50°C.
