252 Basic OperationCapturePerfect 3.0CapturePerfect 3.0 is an ISIS-compatible applicationdeveloped for Canon document scanners.CapturePerfect 3.0 includes the following modes. Select thedesired scan mode from the Scan menu to perform scanning.For more information on CapturePerfect 3.0, refer to theCapturePerfect 3.0 Operation Guide.■ Scanning with CapturePerfectThe following three scanning methods are available fromthe CapturePerfect Scan menu.Scan Batch to FileDocuments are scanned with the preset scanningconditions, and the scanned image data is saved to aspecified folder.Scan Batch to PrinterDocuments are scanned with the preset scanningconditions, and the scanned image data is printed on aspecified printer.Scan Batch to MailScanning is performed with the specified scanningconditions, and a MAPI-compliant e-mail client is startedto generate a new e-mail message with the scanned imagesas attachments.Scan PageOnly one page of the document is scanned.Scan JobThe scanning conditions and scan mode (Scan Batch toFile, Scan Batch to Printer, or Scan Batch to Mail) areregistered in advance as a job. The scan job can then beperformed by selecting the registered job from the drop-down list (a) or by clicking (Scan Job) on the toolbar (b).HintThe following two scan jobs are already registered and up to 99additional jobs can be registered.• Color DocumentScan the document using 24-bit color, simplex, at 300 dpiresolution, and save the file in the folder [My Pictures] underthe folder [My Documents].• Binary DocumentScan the document in black-and-white, simplex, at 200 dpiresolution, and save the file in the folder [My Pictures] underthe folder [My Documents].Scan Batch to PrinterPrints scanned imageson a specified printer(Network)Scan Batch to FileSaves scanned images as files ina specified folderScan Batch to MailStarts your e-mail program andattaches the scanned image toa new e-mail messageDR-X10Cb a
