Preparations20Adjusting the Position and Brightnessof the LCD ScreenRotating the LCD PanelOpen the LCD panel 90 degrees.• You can rotate the panel 90 degreesdownward.• You can rotate the panel 180 degreestoward the lens. Rotating the LCDpanel 180 degrees can be useful inthe following cases:- When you wish to include yourself inthe picture when recording with theself timer.- To allow the camcorder to be operatedwith the wireless controller from thefront.NOTESAbout the LCD screen: The screen isproduced using extremely high-precisionmanufacturing techniques, with more than99.99% of the pixels operating tospecification. Less than 0.01% of thepixels may occasionally misfire or appearas black, red, blue or green dots. This hasno effect on the recorded image and doesnot constitute a malfunction.LCD BacklightYou can set the brightness of thescreen to normal or bright.While the camcorder is on, holdpressed down for more than2 seconds.Repeat this action to toggle betweenthe normal and bright settings.NOTES• This setting does not affect thebrightness of the recording.• Using the bright setting will shorten theeffective usage time of the battery pack.• When the compact power adapter isconnected while the brightness of thescreen is normal, the brightness willautomatically change to bright.180°90°180°Subject can monitor the LCD screenDISP.
