RECEIVE MODE Sets how the machine receives fax and telephone calls.FaxOnly The machine automatically receives faxes, all calls will be answered as faxtransmission. Voice calls will then be disconnected.FaxTel The machine automatically switches between fax and voice calls. Fax willbe received automatically, and the machine will ring for voice calls.AnsMode The machine receives documents automatically and the answeringmachine records voice calls.DRPD The machine distinguishes fax and voice calls by using Distinctive RingPattern Detection and lets you know if the call is a fax or voice call.Manual The connected telephone rings when the machine receives both fax andvoice calls. TEL NUMBER MARK You can prefix your number with the abbreviations FAX or TEL in yoursender information.4. OFFHOOK ALARM Enables/disables the offhook alarm that alerts you when the handset isnot in the handset cradle.ON After reception and transmission, the offhook alarm sounds when thehandset of extension telephone is left off the hook.OFF No offhook alarm.
