The welder isequipped with infinite wire speedcontrol to accurately select the properwire feed rate needed for variouswelding conditions. Internal componentsare thermostatically protected.This welding system is designed for usewith the Flux Cored Arc Welding(FCAW) or the Gas Metal Arc Welding(GMAW) process. As delivered from thefactory, this welder can weld with .030"(0.8mm) diameter flux core wire. Astarter spool of .030" (0.8 mm) fluxcored wire is included.CIRCUIT REQUIREMENTSThis equipment requires a dedicated120 volt or 230 volt circuit (dependingon model). Refer to the following chartfor correct circuit breaker or fuserating for 120 volt models. Do not runother appliances, lights or tools on thiscircuit while operating this equipment.Extension cords are not recommended.Blown fuses and tripped circuitbreakers can result from failure tocomply with this recommendation.COMPONENTS AND CONTROLS(FIGURE 1)1. Work Clamp – connects to workpiece.2. Torch with .030" tip.3. Power Cord – plug into 120 volt or230 volt outlet (depending onmodel).4. Light – illuminates if thermostat hasautomatically shut welder off.5. Infinite Wire Speed Control – turnclockwise to increase wire speed andcounterclockwise to decrease wirespeed.6.
