If the EC155 is coupled with a CSAT3A sonicanemometer and is to be used in a marine environment, or in an environmentwhere it is exposed to corrosive chemicals (for example, the sulfur-containingcompounds in viticulture), attempt to mount the EC155 with CSAT3A in a waythat reduces the exposure of the sonic transducers of the CSAT3A to saltwateror corrosive chemicals. In marine or viticulture environments, the sonictransducers are expected to age more quickly and require replacement soonerthan a unit deployed in an inland, chemical-free environment.6.2 Mounting Analyzer to Support HardwareThe EC150 is supplied with mounting hardware to attach it to the end of ahorizontal pipe of 3.33 cm (1.31 in) outer diameter, such as the CM202 (pn17903), CM204 (pn 17904), or CM206 crossarm (pn 17905).There are three different mounting brackets for the EC150. A head onlymounting bracket (pn 26785), the EC150/CSAT3A mounting bracket (pn26786) that was shipped with any CSAT3A with a serial number of less than2000, and a new EC150/CSAT3A mounting bracket (pn 32065) that ships withany CSAT3A with a serial number of 2000 or greater. The three mountingbrackets are shown in FIGURE 6-1.The CSAT3A sonic anemometer head is an option when ordering the EC150and the appropriate mounting bracket is included with the EC150 depending onif the CSAT3A is ordered. If the user is already in possession of a CSAT3Aand intends to use it with the EC150, the proper mounting bracket should bespecified at time of order.The screws and bolts for either mounting bracket are easily lost inthe field. Replacements are available through Campbell Scientificor can be sourced elsewhere. To use bracket 26785, use pn 15807(screw #8-32 x 0.250 socket head) and pn 26712 (screw 3/8-16 x0.625 hex cap). To use bracket 26786, use pn 26711 (screw #8-32x 0.250 shoulder cap) and pn 26712 (screw 3/8-16 x 0.625 hexcap). To use bracket 32065, use pn 10393 (screw 1/4-20 X 0.375cap socket) and pn 26712 (screw 3/8-16 x 0.625 hex cap).NOTE
