Topup with 10w/30 oil if the dipstickis clear of oil.Check the fuel level. Refill asnecessary and as determined bythe fuel tank type – see diagram.Switch the engine ignition switchto the ON position.Turn the fuel tap located on theengine carburetor to the ONposition. If the engine is cold orhas not been operated recentlyset the choke lever on thecarburetor to the ON position.Pull the engine recoil handle slowly until it engages then pull hard and fast to start theengine.After the start, guide the cord back into its position. Do not let it snap back.Once the engine has started, if the choke lever has been used, return this to its OFF positionafter the engine has run for a few seconds. |
