4PUSHBUTTON STARTStartWith the vehicle in Park orNeutral, press the brake pedaland then press the ENGINESTART/STOP button to start theengine. The green indicator onthe button will illuminate.Note: The Remote Keyless Entrytransmitter must be in the vehicle toturn on the ignition. If the transmitterbattery is weak, place the transmitterin the pocket in the center consolestorage compartment to enable theengine to start. Replace the transmitterbattery as soon as possible.Stop/OffShift to Park and press theENGINE START/STOP button to turn off the engine.Power will be available for 10 minutes to operate the audio systemuntil the driver’s door is opened and to operate the windows andsunroof♦ until any door is opened.AccessoryWith the engine off and the brake pedal NOT depressed, pressthe ENGINE START/STOP button to place the ignition systemin the Accessory mode. The yellow indicator on the button willilluminate.See Driving and Operating in your Owner Manual.ADAPTIVE REMOTE STARTStarting the Vehicle1. Press and release the Lock button on the Remote KeylessEntry transmitter.2. Immediately press and hold the Remote Start button untilthe turn signal lamps flash (about 4 seconds).When the vehicle starts, the doors remain locked and the park-ing lamps will light and remain on while the engine is running.The engine will continue running for 10 minutes. Repeat thesesteps for a 10-minute time extension. Remote start can beextended only once.3. Before driving, press the brake pedal and then press theENGINE START/STOP button to turn on the ignition.Canceling a Remote StartPress and hold the Remote Start button until the parkinglamps turn off.Heated/Cooled Seat OperationThe heated/cooled seats will turn on during a remote start(if selected in the Vehicle Settings menu) when outside tem-p eratures warrant. The seat button indicators do not illuminateduring a remote start.Note: To change the heated/cooled seat settings, go to Remote Lock,Unlock, Start in the Vehicle Settings menu.See Keys, Doors and Windows in your Owner Manual. |
