If thesystem is working normally, theindicator light then goes off.Press and release the TractionControl System (TCS)/StabiliTrakbutton to turn off TCS, and amessage displays in the DIC.Press and briefly hold the TCS/StabiliTrak button to turn off theStabiliTrak system; the StabiliTrakOff light comes on and a messageappears in the Driver InformationCenter (DIC).If the StabiliTrak/TCS system is off,the system does not assist incontrolling the vehicle. Turn on theStabiliTrak/TCS system and theindicator light turns off.See StabiliTrak ® System onpage 9‑39, and Ride Control SystemMessages on page 5‑32 for moreinformation.Traction Control System(TCS)/StabiliTrak ® LightThe TCS/StabiliTrak light comes onbriefly when the engine is started.If the light does not come on orstays on, have the vehicle servicedby the dealer.
