19Auxiliary Door Releases Mobile AppsThe Keyless Access Systemenables operation of thedoors without removingthe Remote Keyless Entrytransmitter from your pocketor purse by pressing thedoor handle touch pad atthe rear edge of the door(from outside the vehicle), orpressing the door latch but-ton on the inside pull handle(from inside the vehicle).If the vehicle’s 12-volt batteryis weak or disconnected, thedoor handle touch pads anddoor latch buttons may notoperate. The doors can beopened manually.Open the Doors Manually from Outside1. Remove the door key from the transmitter.2. Insert it into the lock cylinder above the license plate and turnit to open the trunk.3.
