D106 of 422 UNPACKING THE S320 OCS2.1 Tools and Equipment Used for UnpackingThe following tools are recommended for opening the S320 OCS shipping containers: Utility knife #1 and #2 Phillips screwdrivers2.2 Unpacking the S320 OCSWhen unpacking the S320 OCS, remove and keep the shipping lockdown baseplate(Figure 1), materials and containers for future shipment. The switch should only beshipped using the original lockdown baseplate and container; otherwise, its warrantywill be void.The S320 OCS is sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD). Be sure to wear either awrist or ankle ESD grounding strap when handling switch components.The proper method for unpacking the S320 OCS includes the following steps:1. Carefully inspect the exterior of each shipping container for any obvious signs ofdamage that may have occurred during shipping.2. Cut the band straps wrapped around the container.
