To help minimisethe energy used, follow the advice below:• Start by ironing the fabrics that require the lowest ironingtemperature.• Regulate the steam according to the selected ironingtemperature.• Only use steam if necessary. If possible, use the sprayfunction instead.• Try to Iron the fabrics while they are still damp and reduce thesteam setting. Steam will be generated from the fabrics ratherthan the iron. If you tumble dry your fabrics before ironingthem, set the tumble drier on the “iron dry” programme.• If the fabrics are damp enough, turn off the steam regulatorcompletely.• Stand the iron upright during pauses. Resting it horizontallywith the steam regulator on generates wasted steam. Before Using Your IronThis appliance has been designed exclusively for domestic useand must not be used for industrial purposes.Carefully read through the operating instructions for the applianceand safeguard them for future reference.Operating instructionsGeneral safety instructions• This appliance is to be connected and used in accordance withthe information stated on the rating plate.• The appliance must only be connected to an earthed socket. If it is absolutely necessary to use an extension cable, makesure that it is suitable for 10A of more and has a socket withan earth connection.• In order to avoid that, under unfavourable mains conditions, phenomena like transient voltage drops or lighting fluctuationscan happen, it is recommended that the iron is connected to apower supply system with a maximum impedance of 0.27 Ω.
