In any case, it is recommended to have a completelyinstalled operating system on the hard disk to shorten the installa‐tion time!The change of the hard disk for the two variants of the VSB 40.1 is not identicbecause the hard disk is located at different positions.8.4.2 Exchanging the Hard Disk of the VSB 40.1, NN Variant1. Store all required user data as well as the operating system settings of thesystem either on an external storage medium or via the network connec‐tion!2. Shut down the operating system.3. Wait until the power supply unit switches off and then, switch off the supplyvoltage. If required, unplug all connectors.4. Put the VSB 40.1 on a solid mat, so that the connector panel looks in yourdirection.5. Remove the VSB 40.1 from the mounting plate (mounting frame) and en‐sure that the connector panel is turned away from you when putting theVSB 40.1.7. Loosen the fastening screws of the hard disk frame.
