Any errors that the heatergenerates will be indicated by an errorcode that will appear on the display(Fig. 10, pos. 1) and by a symbolindicating a "safety block" (Fig. 10,pos. 7). The remote control will beoperative only after pressing the resetbutton on the heater and clearing theerror.To identify the type of error or if theerror will not clear, consult the heaterinstallation manual.7 Troubleshooting7.1 Replacing batteriesWhen batteries are weak, the lowbattery symbol (Fig. 10, pos. 5) willappear on the display.B Remove the two screws on the backof the remote control.B Open the battery housing andremove the batteries, then replacewith new AA 1.5V batteries,ensuring they are inserted correctly.B Close the battery housing using thetwo screws.7.2 CleaningUse a damp cloth to clean parts of theremote control. Do not use abrasive orsolvent-based detergents.7.3 Troubleshooting1.
