Always use ovenmits.Cookware tips for Convection▯ Metal Pans:Recommended for all types of baked products,especially where browning is important.Dark or dull finish metal pans are best for breads andpies because they absorb heat and produce crispercrust.Shiny aluminum pans are better for cakes, cookies ormuffins because they reflect heat and help produce alight tender crust.▯ Glass or glass-ceramic casseroles or baking dishes:Best suited for egg and cheese recipes due to thecleanability of glass.Note: Always use the convection rack when using theConvection mode.Setting Convection modeConvection cooking temperature ranges from 200° F(93°C) to 450° F (232°C).1. Touch Convection. 350° F and START are blinking,the À symbol lights up in the display.2. Enter the desired temperature using the number keys.3. Touch Start/Enter. The preheat bar appears in thedisplay. The oven starts preheating.Note: Do not open the appliance door duringpreheating.When preheating is completed, the oven will beeptwice briefly, and the preheat bar goes away.4. Open the door, place convection rack and food in theoven. Close the door quickly in order to maintain oventemperature.Note: During convection cooking, the vent fan canautomatically turn on at the lowest speed setting to coolthe oven components.To end convection cooking, touch Clear/Off.Opening appliance door during operationOpening the appliance door during operation willinterrupt the current mode. When you close theappliance door, operation will be resumed.Cancel operationTouch Clear/Off to cancel the active oven mode.
