17Upper glass coverBefore opening the top cover, remove any spills with a cloth.Use glass cleaner if possible.For cleaning, remove the top cover. To do this, hold the coversecurely on both sides with both hands and pull it upwards.If the cover hinges become loose, note the letters marked onthem. The hinge with the letter R must be fitted on the right, andthe hinge with the letter L must be fitted on the left.After cleaning, re-assemble the top cover following the sameprocedure in reverse order.Only close the top cover once the burners have cooled down.Detaching and refitting the railsThe rails can be removed for cleaning. The oven must havecooled down.Unhooking the rails1. Hold the shelf frames from underneath and pull slightlyforward. Pull the extension pins at the bottom of the rails outof the mounting holes (Fig. A).2. Then fold the rails upwards and carefully remove them(Fig. B).Clean the rails with washing-up liquid and a sponge. Forstubborn deposits of dirt, use a brush.Installing the frames1. Insert the two hooks carefully into the upper holes. (Figure A-B): Incorrect assembly!Never move the frame before the two hooks are fullyanchored in the upper holes. The enamel could be damagedand may break (figure C).Accessories Hot soapy water:Soak and then clean with a dish cloth ora brush.Aluminium baking tray*:(depending on appliance model)Dry with a soft cloth.Do not clean in the dishwasher.Never use oven cleaner.To prevent scratches, never touch themetal surfaces with a knife or a similarsharp object.Harsh cleaning products, scratchysponges and rough cleaning cloths arenot suitable.
