English 13Oven InstallationNote:Before installing the oven, be sure to verify the cabinetdimensions and electrical connections.Removing the Oven DoorFor ease of installation, some oven doors may be removedto reduce the weight of the oven by 30 lbs (14 kg) per door,before installing into the cabinet. See instructions below.To remove the oven door:Installing the Oven1. Lift or slide unit into cabinet cutout. Do not lift applianceby door handle.2. Push straight in until oven trim is flush with cabinetwall, being careful not to crimp flexible conduit betweenoven and cabinet back wall. The oven should bestraight and level, not crooked.3. Install supplied screws through tap holes in trim. (2screws for single ovens, 4 screws for double/comboovens)CAUTION:When removing the door:• Make sure oven is cool and power to theoven has been turned off beforeremoving the door. Failure to do so couldresult in burns.• The oven door is heavy and fragile. Useboth hands to remove the oven door. Thedoor front is glass. Handle carefully toavoid breaking.• Grasp only the sides of the oven door. Donot grasp the handle as it may swing inyour hand and cause damage or injury.• Failure to grasp the oven door firmly andproperly could result in personal injury orproduct damage.• To avoid injury from hinge bracketsnapping closed, be sure that both leversare securely in place before removing thedoor. Also, do not force door open orclosed - the hinge could be damaged andinjury could result.• Do not lay removed door on sharp orpointed objects as this could break theglass. Lay on a flat, smooth surface,positioned so that the door cannot fallover.1. Be sure to read theabove CAUTIONbefore attempting toremove the door.2. Open the doorcompletely.3. Flip levers on hingestoward you.4. Holding the door firmlyon both sides andusing both hands,close the door gentlyuntil it stops againstthe levers, about 30ºfrom the closedposition.5. Carefully lift the doorup and out of thehinge slots. Holdfirmly; the door isheavy.6. Place the door in aconvenient and stablelocation for cleaning.
